In an exciting development for the Shiba Inu community, project team member and lead developer, Shytoshi Kusamaannounced an upcoming game update designed specifically for SHIArmy, while sharing key information regarding the game. This news suggests that a big improvement will soon be coming to the Shiba Inu ecosystem, aimed at increasing participation and expanding the use of the SHIB coin.
Shiba Inu play to provide unique opportunities
Lucie, member of the Shiba Inu team and marketing manager sharing the update on the X platform (formerly Twitter) on Thursday in the words of Shytoshi Kusama. It is important to note that before this information from Kusama, Lucie had suggested that an imminent event SHIB Eternity gamewhile expressing his enthusiasm and impatience with the initiative.
Lucie noted that holders of NFT Shiboshis, a collection of 10,000 Shiba Inu pixel art characters, will be able to play and win in-game SHIB treats with their coins. “Some people will earn enough to make a living from renting their Shiboshis, while others will enjoy the game and make money while having fun,” she said.
Kusama offering more details on the game noted that once completed, the game will only be licensed to the decentralized Shiba Inu team for use on the project’s layer 2 blockchain solution, Shibarium. The main goal of the team is to integrate the related decentralized aspects into the mobile version so that future updates can be made.
Furthermore, Kusama emphasized that even though Shiba Inu Games is completely independent of this business, it will present special opportunities and value to the project’s main tokens such as SHIB, LEASH and BONE.
He also highlighted the potential SHIB and LEASH burns, which will be done with funds from Shiba Inu in-app purchases. “Really win-win, and this is just a taste of what we have planned,” Kusama added.

This announcement follows ongoing speculation regarding an upcoming giveaway from Shibarium users. According to to Lucie, there will soon be a giveaway of an NFT art project on the Shiba Inu blockchain for the Shibarium community.
Specifically, SHIBA SWEEPERS, a community-focused NFT project that builds Shibarium, is behind the competition, presenting its first collection on the blockchain. On July 1, 2024, the collection consisting of 10,000 distinct coins (3,000 animated NFTs and 7,000 PNGs) will be officially distributed and each coin will cost 7 BONE tokens.
While the community eagerly awaits the launch, SHIBA SWEEPERS is hosting giveaways and airdrops for the SHIB army. Community members must join the project’s Telegram group to be eligible for the competition.
