Comedian Sebastian Maniscalco doesn’t really know what to think artificial intelligence in industry.
The stand-up comedian told Fox News Digital that he thought live entertainment would always exist, but he has used the new technology in his personal life.
“I don’t know how it’s going to affect stand-up comedy,” Maniscalco said of AI. “I guess we haven’t really seen that yet. I haven’t been as aware of AI as being like, ‘Oh, wow.’ I mean, I know my wife used it to redesign our kitchen, what our kitchen could look like if we remodeled it, which is really cool to see.”
He said he thinks “live entertainment will always be around, but who knows… In 20 years I might talk to you and you might say, ‘Wow, you never saw AI coming “. I’d say, ‘Yeah, now I’m unemployed.'”

The 50-year-old said he primarily uses AI to write emails.
“I’ve often taken what I wanted to say in an email and asked the AI to write it with correct grammar and tense, because the way I write emails is like Rocky ” he joked. “So it takes Rocky Balboa and it makes me feel like I went to Yale.”
He joked that the AI that writes his emails is “a little inauthentic” because someone who receives a message from him might wonder, “‘Who is that?’ But what is my state of mind, at least you know what I’m saying.”

“I’d be lying to you if I said, ‘Oh, I don’t know, is it worth doing this joke because it might provoke a, b and c?’ There’s a little bit of that, but I don’t know I’ve been all over the country, and I feel like the people who come to my shows at least are dying to laugh, whether it’s appropriate. or inappropriate, I mean, I hate using the word “inappropriate”.
