LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Police departments across the Las Vegas Valley arrested 12 men during a sex offender check in Clark County.
The arrests took place between June 3 and 7 during an in-person operation aimed at ensuring sex offenders were complying with their registration.
Those arrested were: David Duenas, 43; David Perry, 45; John Simmons, 51; Jérémie Gard,
39; Ryan Hamm, 60; Brian Monegan, 62; Casey Saunders, 26; Scott Billings, 49; Giezi Burrion Diaz, 29 years old; Lawrence Sayles, 65; Nathaniel Whaley, 51, and Anthony Buncie, 62.
By the end of the operation, 1,840 sex offenders were contacted, resulting in 12 arrests.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reminds sex offenders who are required to register to verify their address with law enforcement based on their assigned level.

Level 3 offenders must check in quarterly

Level 2 offenders must register twice a year

Tier 1 offenders must register annually
Arrest Them North Las Vegas Police Department, Henderson Police
Department, Boulder City Police Department, Clark County School District Police
Department and the Las Vegas City Marshals.
THE the public can access Offender Watch, a website and a mobile application which can be used as a tool for parents to identify which houses they want their children to avoid.
