As we enter an exciting new chapter of company growth and leadership, now is the perfect time to learn about the latest changes to our team and where we’re headed next.
Dive in and get to know our new CEO of Kilo Health, Zygimantas Surintas, and find out what’s next for our co-founder, Tadas Burgaila, who has been at the wheel for over 10 years.
New management team
Yes, our company will now have a new leader to look up to, so let’s not remain strangers. Consider this blog post a virtual handshake to introduce you to our new CEO.
Zygimantas Surintas, with more than 16 years of experience in air sky management as CEO and board member of SmartLynx Airlines, a subsidiary of Avia Solutions Group, has joined Kilo Health as CEO and member from the administration board. In his new role, he will oversee the management of the group of companies, product development and investments.
Alongside our new CEO, Rita Janusauskaite has also joined our team as Chief Operating Officer of Kilo Health. Rita has an impressive background, having led teams at Studio Moderna, Kesko Senukai Digital and CCC Group. We are delighted to have him on board!
“Surintas and Janusauskaite will undoubtedly contribute to the continued implementation of the company’s mission and strategic directions. I believe the new business partners will give Kilo Health new energy and inspiration to move forward,” says Burgaila.
Expand into new markets and focus on new products
Our co-founder Tadas Burgaila, who has been the guiding light and cornerstone of our company for a decade, isn’t going anywhere either. Instead, he shifts gears to focus on what he does best.
Burgaila will devote all her energy to the development and market expansion of our new health technology products by taking on the role of Head of the Growth Department. Additionally, he will continue to serve as Executive Chairman of the Kilo Health Board of Directors.
“Over the past five years, the Kilo Health group of companies has grown rapidly and become the second fastest growing company in Europe, without any additional external investment. This rapid growth comes with challenges; managing existing processes and resources has become necessary. With the arrival of Zygimantas Surintas, I believe we will manage healthtech startups even more effectively, allowing me to focus solely on new product development,” says Burgaila.
Prioritizing growth and efficiency is key
The last 12 months have been a profitable year for the company. However, according to Kilo Health’s new CEO Zygimantas Surintas, there has been a notable slowdown in revenue growth. Increasing efficiency is therefore now a top priority.
“Kilo Health is a non-traditional startup that has been profitable since day one. To ensure continued growth, expand our product range and enter new markets, we plan to implement new efficiency principles by actively integrating artificial intelligence and reducing hierarchical levels. These changes will help the group of companies move to a new stage of maturity and adapt to the post-COVID competitive landscape,” says Kilo Health CEO.
The new CEO wants Kilo Health’s workplace to be the best in Lithuania, while respecting our principles of smart and regular work.
The dawn of a new era at Kilo Health has arrived, and we can’t wait to see where this new journey takes us.
