Hulu experienced an outage, with as many as 50,000 reports rated on Down Detector late Monday night. There is no indication of what caused the outage, but Hulu official support account on X acknowledged the issue, following up on customer messages after approximately 11:15 p.m. ET, saying“Our developers were able to implement changes to mitigate the interruption. Please restart your device to begin streaming and let us know if you experience any further issues.”
Not everyone had trouble accessing Hulu, but for those who did, posts on social networks said either they couldn’t log in or they didn’t see any content listed on Hulu’s website or streaming apps. This doesn’t appear to exclusively affect people who have or don’t have linked their Hulu and Disney Plus accountsand it is unclear whether the problem was related to certain regions.
Hulu’s support messages didn’t provide any further details on why the service was interrupted for so many people, but if you were hoping to conclude The bear season three or something else exclusive to the service, then you should be back online now.
Update, July 8: It has been noted that the issue appears to be resolved.
