The fouls on Clark have drawn a lot of attention this month, particularly during the Indiana Fever’s games against the Chicago Sky.
Earlier this month, Sky guard Chennedy Carter performed a hip check on Clark, which sent the rookie to the ground. This mistake sparked a firestorm on social networks and on television. Clark said it wasn’t a basketball game.
Media coverage around Clark exploded again on Sunday when Angel Reese was penalized for a flagrant foul for hitting the sniper in the face during a layup attempt.
Clark downplayed the mistake in the post-match press conference.
