Sara Fischer, a senior reporter at Axios and senior analyst at CNN, said on the network Thursday that President Biden’s upcoming interview on ABC won’t be enough to improve his standing with the American people after last week’s debate.

The journalist gave numerous examples of Biden’s appearances that will not be enough to restore his reputation on the American political scene.
“You know, him going to rallies in Raleigh is not going to convince the American people that he’s in control. Him giving press conferences with a teleprompter is not going to convince the American people,” she said. “He needs to be in an interview where he’s being asked live, in a spontaneous moment, so people can see whether he can actually react quickly or not.”
