The rise of Latino entrepreneurship has increased the overall share of new immigrant-owned businesses, which accounted for 36% of launches last year, up from 25% in 2019, according to a new analysis of Census Bureau data . New business creation by white and native-born Americans has slowed over the past two years, after a sharp increase at the start of the pandemic.
