So, since January statement from the Republican Party of Wisconsin that Wisconsin was in a recession, employment increased. While it is possible for employment to increase even when a state is in recession, this combination seems highly unlikely.
With a positive national employment reading, it’s no surprise that the Department of Revenue is seeing continued job growth in Wisconsin.
