Today, South-West London Integrated Care System (SWL ICS) and DigitalHealth.London are opening applications for the second cohort of the SWL ICS Digital Pioneer Fellowship programme, supporting changemakers employed by the NHS, local authorities and Voluntary sector organizations in South West London to design and lead health and care transformation projects supported by digital innovation.
From mastering Agile methodologies to building compelling business cases, fellows will gain the skills and knowledge needed to drive real change through immersive learning days, workshops and events covering topics such as structuring evaluations and applying change management principles. The program also serves as a learning community, connecting fellows with like-minded peers, system influencers, and experts who can mentor them.
The ICS Digital Pioneer Fellowship in South West London builds on the Digital Health.London’s Digital Pioneer Fellowship programme, but is aimed specifically at staff employed by the NHS, local authorities and voluntary sector organizations in South West London. West London.
It is estimated that more than 10 million patients and 140,000 NHS and social care staff will be affected by the projects of the 37 fellows who took part in the third cohort of the Digital Pioneer Fellowship programme. 60% of fellows in the third cohort reported a promotion, new job or secondment during support and 80% were able to cite specific examples of positive gains from the network. South West London Integrated Care System
As a clinician, I recognize the significant challenges of implementing new technologies in healthcare. Without appropriate support, guidance and time for staff to develop their professional skills, this can impact patient care and workflow. We are pleased to announce our continued partnership with South-West London Integrated Care System (SWL ICS) to deliver the second cohort of the SWL ICS Digital Pioneer Fellowship, supporting fellows from the NHS, local authority and voluntary sector to drive transformation within their environments. Together we can work to implement change safely and effectively, ensuring the best outcomes for everyone involved.
