Today, DigitalHealth.London opened applications for the eighth cohort of its award-winning Accelerator programme, designed for digital health businesses with innovative products or services that have strong potential to address current NHS and service challenges social.
The program helps innovators maximize their ability to engage commercially with the NHS and social care through enhanced connections, credibility and trust-building opportunities.
Companies accepted into the DigitalHealth.London Accelerator benefit from:
- Tailor-made support an assigned NHS Navigator with clinical expertise or NHS Service Manager
- Direct engagement with high-level stakeholders, clinicians and healthcare experts to ensure their product meets real-world needs
- Opportunities and Resources refine innovations for maximum impact through workshops led by digital health experts and advisors across the DigitalHealth.London network
- Brokering Meaningful Connections between innovators and NHS organizations facing specific challenges
Since 2016, the DigitalHealth.London Accelerator has helped 160 digital health businesses scale and thrive in the UK and beyond. As the UK’s leading accelerator for its track recordtheir former students (including Huma, DrPhysician, Cheerful health, Electronic consultation, AccuRx And NH) have achieved remarkable success, winning over 745 contracts, 3,706 NHS pilot projects and launching 88 new products into the NHS market. On average, every £1 of public investment spent on the program generates £10.90 in economic benefits.
The DigitalHealth.London Accelerator program is part of the Digital Health.London Business Support for London project which has received £1,379,257.04 from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).

Following the application process, up to 20 UK-registered businesses that offer products or services with high potential to address NHS and social care challenges will be offered a place on the program. No fees are charged to businesses, but places are subject to UK grant control rules and have a minimum financial aid (MFA) value of £35,000.00.
Applications open on Wednesday May 8, 2024 and close on Sunday June 16, 2024 at midnight.
