Earlier this year, Lego launched its First time Dungeons and Dragons together to celebrate the game’s 50th anniversary. It was great, but there was There is room for some improvementsexcept for one universally awesome thing: its handle D&D minifigures. The good news is that we’re about to get even more.
Revealed as part of the Lego exhibition in Upcoming Sets at San Diego Comic-Con This year, the toymaker has confirmed that its next wave of blind box collectible figures will be themed Dungeons and Dragons. 12 figures will be available in the collection, offering a mix of generic characters inspired by various background and class archetypes from the game, and iconic villains they can face off against, like a Mind Flayer (perfect for any Baldur’s Gate 3 (customs you might have expected), or named characters like the evil vampire Strahd Von Zarovich or Tasha, the Witch Queen. Each minifigure includes at least one accessory, such as the Intellect Devourer that accompanies the Mind Flayer, or various weapons that accompany the adventurers. What’s great is that, like the minifigures of the biggest Lego D&D Several of the adventurer figures feature an additional printed face on the back of their head, allowing you to move them around to change the gender presented. A fun way to use the figures to represent your own tabletop heroes or to make up for getting a duplicate of a character trying to complete your collection.
