Out since early June with a strained left oblique muscle, Colorado Rockies infielder and outfielder Kris Bryant was activated from the 10-day injured list Tuesday.
In a corresponding move, outfielder Sean Bouchard was sent to Triple-A Albuquerque.
Bryant, 32, played three rehab games in Triple-A over the weekend and went 6 of 11 with two homers.
Limited to 24 games this season because of injuries, Bryant hit .186 with two homers and 10 RBIs in 101 at-bats for Colorado.
Bryant, the second overall pick in the 2012 draft, a four-time All-Star and the 2016 National League MVP with the Chicago Cubs, is in the third year of a seven-year, $182 million contract.
In 10 seasons with the Cubs (2015-21), San Francisco Giants (2021) and Rockies (2022-present), Bryant hit .274 with 184 home runs and 542 RBIs in 1,030 games.
