An American who made threats against Taylor Swift on social media before its first leg in Germany, the “Eras Tour,” was halted.
The singer of “Tortured Poets Department” will be on stage again on Thursday and Friday evening. The 34-year-old singer, whose identity has not been released by the authorities, will be detained until Saturday in Gelsenkirchen.
The man who had been harassed had a ticket for Swift’s concert at the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen on Wednesday, police said in a statement. The man was investigated, but the risk could not be ruled out, leading to his arrest during entrance checks at the arena.

The Grammy Award-winning artist acknowledged the end of “The tour of the eras” at his 100th show in Liverpool, England.
“I think a lot of people are like, ‘How are you going to celebrate your 100th show?'” Swift said onstage. “And for me, celebrating my 100th show means it’s the first time I’ve ever acknowledged and acknowledged that this tour is going to end in December.”
“That’s it,” she continued. “It seems so far away. But on the other hand, I feel like I just did my first show of this tour, because you guys made it so much fun for us that we wanted to do 100, 150 shows and something.”
Swift revealed that touring has become “her whole life,” joking that she no longer remembers her hobbies.
“All I do when I’m not on stage is sit at home and try to think of clever mixes of acoustic songs and think about what I’d like to hear.”
